We needed a place to eat after we returned from our Carnival Cruise. We found El Jardin Mexican Restaurant and gave them a try and now we are telling everyone about our hidden treasure in Galveston. Delicious food at a great price. Came here to get breakfast tacos and they were so delicious! I tried the #1 Surprise breakfast burrito and it was so filling and delicious at a great price. Service was super friendly! Will definitely be returning!

If you’re looking for “hole in the wall” authentic Mexican breakfast this is your place! Family owned and operated with a touch of love and care is how I would describe this restaurant. The food is delicious and made “con puro corazon”

Great breakfast. This traditional Mexican cantina has been a landmark in Galviston for years. The food is top notch and the wonderful people are too. Servace is frendly and fast. When you visit notice how this wonderful establishment servived hurricane ike and its floods.

The El Jardin Mexican Cafe is a great spot for a traditional Mexican breakfast or an American breakfast if you prefer. The place is very casual, nothing fancy but with great food and super friendly service. They serve breakfast and lunch and are one of the best spots we have found in the city.
